With our Basic Server Package, you will get everything you need to run your own web site, file server and game server.

Share pictures, home videos and music. Host your own web site or Blog. Easily and securely access your files or documents from anywhere in the world. Run a LAN or public game server. Access can be selectively restricted to computers in your home, friends or family or with the world. Ask us about getting a free domain name. Then you can pick a name for your server instead of using an IP address i.e. "myserver.homelinux.com" instead of "24.555.91.63".

Once your server is installed and set up it is very secure and easy to maintain. Adding or removing large amounts of data is a snap with a local server. You can use DVD's or CD's, PC's on your home network, USB or the internet. There are 100's of free programs (administration, programming, HTML etc.). Your server can be simple or complex.... you decide!

No monitor, mouse or keyboard is needed. You can administer your server from another PC using free FTP, SSH and remote desktop programs. If you are going to keep your server close to your existing PC, you can also use a KVM. This is a little box that your monitor, mouse and keyboard plug into. Other cables then go from the KVM to the server and PC. Then, all you do is press a button to switch between them.

In addition, you will get a copy of the Linux installation disk and a recovery disk. If your system ever becomes "broken" or you just want to start over, simply restart the computer with the recovery disk in the DVD drive. You can then choose to restore your system to the state it was when you got it from us. The rest is automatic and you should be up and running within 10 minutes!

With the Server Software Package, you bring in your computer and we install Linux on it. Simple!

With the Server Dual Boot Package, you bring in a computer that already has a Windows install on it that you want to keep. We add another hard drive* and install Linux on it. We then configure the dual boot. This means that when you start your computer, you get a menu asking you to pick Windows or Linux. This way you can have both on one box!

With the Server New System Package, you get a new computer ( See the Hardware page ) with Linux installed and configured.
